Each vault, its own pattern

Each vault opens with its own pattern.

Keep personal memories, work documents and travel papers apart. Each vault opens with its own pattern, PIN or passphrase and has its own recovery phrase. There is no vault list: what you draw decides what opens.

IncludedAll plans
In shortPersonal, work, travel: every vault opens with its own pattern, PIN or passphrase, and no screen reveals how many exist. Included on every plan, including Free. Included in the app.

How it works

Each vault, its own pattern, step by step.

Create a vault

Give it its own pattern, PIN or passphrase and its own recovery phrase.

Unlock opens only that vault

There is no vault picker. What you enter decides what opens.

Counts stay local

Every count and storage figure covers only the vault that is open now.

No tell-tale numbers

Settings, the plan card and storage screens never total across vaults, so nobody can spot a gap.

Independent recovery

Each vault restores with its own phrase. Entering one phrase never names another vault.

Up to 3 on free

Free includes up to 3 vaults; Pro is unlimited.

Honest limits

  • Someone with forensic access to the phone's storage may estimate that more data exists than the open vault shows.

FAQ

Each vault, its own pattern: common questions

How many vaults can I have?

Up to 3 on the free plan and unlimited on Pro or Family.

Can someone tell I have another vault?

The app never shows it. A forensic examination of total storage can hint that more data exists; VaultBolt states that limit openly.
